How about splitting accourding to technologies.
Say first, programming languages. ASP, PHP, CFM, ASP.Net etc..
Then programs like Flash, Dreamweaver, PhotoShop… You’ll have to declare that you don’t endorse any of them.
It can even be spanish forum.
Thanks for the input. Perhaps a tech forum would be appropriate, but I don’t think there’d be enough posts to warrant an individual forum for each language. Maybe in a few years if things go really really well.
Wow, thanks for all the suggestions. Since at the moment there aren’t that many members, I’m going to keep everything lumped together in general discussion, but as time passes, I’ll likely add some of those categories.
Perhaps consider starting a thread for new TGP’ers. Sometimes creating the first gallery or two can be a little challenging, sharing that gallery in a safe environment where constructive feedback could be given would certainly help the new boy (or girl) out.
This forum business ain’t all cut and dried ya know. Let the poop pile up, and sort by smell later. The topics will emerge. Usually partway through a thread. You did intend to spend the rest of your life pruning, splitting, merging, sorting and censoring posts and threads, right?
Seriously. Create the fewest possible topics, categories, divisions and lovely yellow coloured traffic flow control devices. It’s all just work you’ll do again later, when the topics emerge from The Primordial Internet Forum Soup.
Congratulations on your new website. Our new website? May it bring you many returns.
The topic I am most interested in tonight is: how do I find a billing server for the eager fists banging at my door? Where do you turn when your website inscludes the s-word, banned by visa?
Make a forum “Introduce yourself” or member introduction..anything like…
where user tell about themself to other users, where they from, what they do, what they like, sexually and apart from sexual things…
