How about a search engine optimization section we can contribute to? I’ve got a good list of helpful sites that I’d be glad to post in the section. Maybe it is a little redundant considering all the other sites, but personally I’d love to have just a few sites I can visit and catch up on the latest.
Do you mean a blog category? That would probably be covered by Tips & Tricks, Design, and possibly tutorials. There is a section in the directory for SEO sites and services. Thing is, because of the dynamic nature of this site (directory listings linked to profiles, etc) the listings need to be submiited by someone from the service or site the listing is for. That said, if you’d like, you should submit a blog entry about what you’ve done to impove your search engine rankings, how it’s afffected your traffic, and what sites you use for SEO resources.
Yes like a Tips and Tricks / SEO section. I would think such an area would be better as a Forum section than a blog as it would be a concentrated area and easier for perhaps newbie webmasters to find help and tips on getting their sites listed in the search engines, optimized - maybe asking other gay webmaster for input or review of their site. When I started out - all I had resources to were straight webmasters who for the majority offered no assistance except for a handful. Now I’m pretty adept and think I can help others. With the dynamics of the search engines always changing and updating - you would get good return traffic on that topic.
I would like to learn more about SEO. I have been trying to get my sites to be a PR of 6 or higher for a while. I am at 4 and have been there for a while. I think I need to create more pages, and trade links with more targetted traffic.
