Shortcut to getting listed in Google

Someone turned me on to this on one of my other sites:

Have you heard of GooglePages?

http://pages.google.com

Not many people have, but Google actually offer free web pages. Nothing too exciting about free web pages I know. But there is a “twist” to Google Pages.

Check this out.. the comment below was taken from a press release put out by Google in February 2006..."Pages created with Page Creator will be crawled by Google (nasdaq: GOOG - news - people ) within a few hours, making the content immediately searchable. This is an advantage over other web-site hosts, which can take days to be included in Google’s search results” Read the full press release at the link below.

http://www.forbes.com/2006/02/23/google-page-creator-0223markets04.html

The pages you create at “GooglePages” will get listed on the Google Search Engine “within hours”.

Interesting stuff.

Introductions Thread

I’ve created this thread for people to introduce themselves to the community. I guess I’ll get things going…

My name is Dick Hunter and I run GayWebmasters.com, RateARod.com, RateARear.com, QueerFetish.com and others. I got my start in the adult biz through Audio Text, also known as phone sex, back in 1997. That’s also when I built my first, rather pathetic looking webpage, to promote a date line. I’ve always been a porn junkie, so it was a natural progression when I started my first adult site in 1999. It was just a simple AVS site, but before long I had 150 simple AVS sites, and it was time to go full-time. In 2000 I launched my first membership site, QueerFetish.com, and then in 2001 I had an idea for a “Hot or Not” style rating site for penises. RateARod.com was born, and caught on right from the get go. It wasn’t long before Howard Stern was telling Robin and his listeners about the “Hall of Shame” on RateARod, joking that his picture belongs in there.

In 2004 I took on the persona of Dick Hunter when I began directing videos. I re-branded my websites as “Dick Hunter’s...”, which was a great fit for RateARod in particular. Shortly after the release of my last video, “An Army Of Fun”, I began working on the development on GayWebmasters.com. Which brings us right up to the present.

Who’s next?

Homophobia & Affiliate Marketing

I have a couple of sites that I’m always having trouble with in terms of getting decent affiliate programs hooked up with. I’m always amazed although on the one hand not that amazed at the amount of homophobia that exists in marketing.

For instance, my gay links site is always a problem—there’s some great/good affiliate programs that I just cant promote there. My Gay Dating site is also another problem child when it comes to promoting good products and services.

Part of the problems lay with the various affiliate networks and part of the problems are with the actual end merchant/program.

What are your experiences?

Needing Help With Adult Websites

I own 3 adult film studios. I also own a dvd sales website. I also do a lot more. I am searching for someone to take the content I have and turn it into 2-3 adult paysites. I already have the merchant account. I just don’t have the time to do so. They are just adult sites containing:

25 images (photoset) per action scene
They are 15 minute video clips, you would turn them into 2 minute clips (make it easier for those who use dial-up)
Stories - that’s totally optional
Also, I would need someone to keep them updated

I have enough content for 3-4 paysites.

I don’t want my sites with AVS groups like Global Male Pass, UGAS, Adult Check, etc. They would be a network in their own.

This would kind of be like a partnership on the sites, we would sign agreements. I’m looking for someone because I just dont have the time to do this so I figured before I make time perhaps I could find someone who would be interested and willing.

Compensation:
50/50 payout menaing:
The site GROSSED $1000.00. 14.9% of that would be taken out automaticly for the merchant account.
After that, we split it 50/50. Your 50% is yours. My 50% is mine. My 50% will go into advertising / marketing / promoting the websites. I will cover the overhead.

Once the sites are ready to go live - that is the time I will buy the server.

My content is original content. It is only sold on DVDs and on VoD. Other than that, it can’t be found anywhere else.

If this is something you would be interested in or want to talk more about. Don’t reply to me here I don’t really read the forums. You can email me at:

I got this idea from another board, but unfortunately I can’t remember which one. I’m a huge pet lover so I can’t help but copy the idea here. I’ll get things started. And yes, I like to dress up my pets. Ya got a problem with it!

great traffic exchange…

Just wanted to spam a very great traffic converting utility:
http://www.SurferSwap.com - You add a bit of code to your page to show a small link list. Every click you send, it will send 2 clicks back. Use it wisely to send traffic to a well designed page and and have great conversions.
